This guide will help Shopify merchants customize their OTP login portal on the Modal View (Login Pop-up). By following these steps, you can modify the appearance, functionality, and login options according to your brand’s preferences.

Steps to Customize Modal View

1. Access the Widget Customization Settings



  1. Go to your Shopify Admin Panel.

  2. Click on the Apps section.

  3. Select Lucent ‑ OTP Login & Notify.

  4. Navigate to the Settings section.

  5. Click on Widget Customization.


2. Modify the Modal View



  1. In the Modal View section, click on the Customize button.

  2. From here, you can customize different aspects of the OTP popup.


Customization Options

-> Page Content Customization



  • Modify the Login Title and Subtitle.

  • Edit the Phone, Email, and WhatsApp placeholders.

  • Change any other visible text elements.


-> Theme Customization



  • Adjust the Button Text Color.

  • Change the Button Background Color.

  • Upload or change the Brand Logo.

  • Customize the Left Banner Image (Desktop) (Size: 514 × 536 px, Ratio: 1:1).

  • Customize the Top Banner Image (Mobile) (Size: 350 × 162 px, Ratio: 175:81).


-> General Settings Customization



  • Select the login methods available for customers (Phone, Email, WhatsApp) by enabling/disabling checkboxes.

  • Define marketing preferences by enabling options like SMS, Email, or WhatsApp marketing messages.

  • Enable or disable international OTP login to allow users from different countries to log in. If international OTP is not enabled, you can request support from the General Settings section.


Preview Screen Changes

Before finalizing your customization, you can preview how the changes will look on different screens:



  1. OTP Login Screen – How customers enter their mobile number.

  2. Verify OTP Screen – The screen where users enter their OTP code.

  3. Update Account Details Screen – The final confirmation screen.


To switch between these views, use the Screen OTP Login dropdown menu.
