The Consent Pop-Up is a message that appears on your store giving customers the option to accept or decline shipping protection before proceeding to checkout. Here's how you can customize its appearance and content to align with your brand.
Steps to Customize the Consent Pop-Up:
1. Open the App Settings
In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps > Simply Shipping Protection.
From the left-hand menu, click on Settings, then choose the Layout section.
2. Select “Consent Popup” Tab
At the top of the layout settings, switch to the Consent Popup tab.
3. Customize Content
You’ll find multiple fields to adjust what the pop-up says:
Title (Text): This is the main heading of the pop-up.
Subtitle: A short description of what the protection includes.
Button Texts: These may not be editable directly here but appear as “No Thanks” and “Add Protection” in the preview.
Variables: You can use dynamic values like the protection fee using available shortcodes (e.g.,
#mplan_price#
).
4. Style Your Pop-Up
Use the following options to control design:
Text Color & Size
Font Weight
Background Color – e.g., white (
#fff5f5
)Border Settings – Set color (
#d4e0e4
), width, and radiusSpacing – Adjust margin and padding (e.g., Margin: 30px, Padding: 15px)
5. Position the Popup
Use the Popup Position dropdown to set where the pop-up will appear (e.g., Top Right).
6. Preview the Changes
On the right panel, you can view how the pop-up will look on the storefront under “Consent Popup Preview”.
7. Save Your Settings
Click the Save button at the top right corner of the page to apply your changes.
